With the recent explosion of new devices such as smartphones, tablets and the like browsing the web the challenge is on for companies to deliver sites that cover viewing on all these different devices. One technique that is gaining a lot of interest right now is the responsive we design. To the man in the street, the responsive websites automatically adjust their layout based on the screen size of the device you are browsing on. Although the technology is new and somewhat expert to implement the results speak for themselves. You could say that Responsive is becoming the de facto standard design concept on the web today. The benefit for business? Designing once for all devices is more consistent in terms of presentation and more cost effective than designing apps for separate devices.
